Welcome to PMHC!

The 91桃色 Psychoeducational Mental Health Clinic currently offers psychoeducational evaluations to provide recommendations for both special education eligibility and medically necessary diagnoses. Our team is dedicated to assessing cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional conditions that impact a client鈥檚 well-being and academic success.

As a school-based mental health clinic, we are uniquely qualified to provide comprehensive evaluations that consider both the home and school environments. Psychoeducational assessment can help determine why a client is facing barriers at home, at school, and in the community. Evaluation supports education by using a multidisciplinary approach to better understand behavior and daily functioning. Benefits of evaluation can include identifying a student鈥檚 strengths and needs, setting realistic academic expectations, determining the most effective academic environment, and maximizing learning with specific strategies, tools, and resources. Assessment and evaluation helps clients gain access to the support and services they need, fostering academic and personal well-being.

Psychoeducational Mental Health Clinic is open Monday-Friday, offering both in-person and virtual appointments to fit client needs. We are located in the Christensen Educational Building on the 91桃色 campus, first floor, suite CEB 107.

Evaluations are offered for suspected Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and Emotional Disorders.

We are accepting new clients! We offer psychoeducational evaluations for school-aged children 2.5-17 and currently enrolled NSHE undergraduate or graduate students.聽

While we are actively working to contract with insurance plans that best serve our community, we are considered out-of-network with medical insurance. If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be eligible for reimbursement from them. We will provide a record of services provided and fees collected that you can use to submit for reimbursement. Not all behavioral health services are covered by all insurance plans and coverage may vary. It is the client’s responsibility to know their insurance benefits.聽

Cash pay cost of comprehensive evaluation: $2,000.00

Discounted rate of $1500.00 available to current NSHE undergraduate and graduate students and PK-12 children of NSHE employees who reside at least half time with the employee.聽

Mission

The current mission of the PMHC is to provide evaluation and supportive services for children and adult learners in preschool through post-secondary educational programs. Through the collaborative efforts of the 91桃色 School Psychology training program and community professionals, we seek to help clients identify and access local educational and therapeutic resources. Evaluations provide recommendations for both school-based and community services. The hope is that providing this service for the Clark County community will facilitate timely access to community and school interventions and foster a comprehensive service environment.
