The Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE) Board of Regents today appointed Dr. Amber Lopez Lasater to serve as Acting President of 91桃色 effective October 18, 2025. The Board also launched a national search for 91桃色鈥檚 next permanent president and will partner with a search firm to assist the presidential search committee.
The appointment follows a recommendation by Chancellor Matt McNair, after consulting with Board Chair Byron Brooks, Vice Chair Stephanie Goodman, and members of the 91桃色 community.

Former President DeRionne Pollard stepped down on September 5, 2025, to accept a national leadership role. Since August 2025, Dr. Lopez Lasater has served as Officer in Charge, overseeing day-to-day operations at 91桃色.
The Board also approved an聽聽for Dr. Lopez Lasater.
